Information we collect
When you use this website, we may collect the details you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, interest type, route or region, organisation name, enquiry message and any other information you include in a form or email.
We may also receive basic technical information from our hosting and form providers, such as device, browser, time of visit and error or security logs needed to run the website.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics on every page of this website to count page views and understand how visitors find and move around the site. It records the page visited, the site or link you arrived from, and general device, browser and country information.
We also record each time a waitlist or partner enquiry form is submitted, together with the interest category you chose from the dropdown, so we can see how often each form is used. This record is created when you press the button, so it does not tell us whether your enquiry reached us. It includes the same page, referrer, device and country information described above, but not your name, email address, organisation, or anything you type in your own words.
It does not use cookies, does not store an identifier on your device, and does not follow you across other websites or build a profile of you. We use the results only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful so we can improve the site. Vercel Inc. processes this information on our behalf and may store it outside New Zealand.
How we use it
- To keep you posted about the Pooly trial, launch news and useful updates.
- To respond to partner enquiries and understand routes or communities that may benefit from Pooly.
- To improve the website, keep it secure and manage our records.
- To measure how the website is used, in aggregate, so we can make it better.
- To meet legal obligations or respond to lawful requests if required.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, forms, email and related systems, or where required or permitted by law. Some providers may store or process information outside New Zealand.
Marketing updates
If you join the waitlist or make an enquiry, we may email you about the Pooly trial or relevant Pooly news. You can unsubscribe or ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Contact privacy@pooly.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
